What is cellulite and why is it difficult to lose?

Cellulite is inflammation of the skin tissue caused by localised fat deposits that deform the body and skin. Localised fat deposits are excess fat in the body. This excess fat can be located on the stomach, hips, thighs, back or arms. Cellulite is located in the same places. Cellulite (and therefore fat deposits) can be caused by a number of different factors: heredity, being overweight, a poor lifestyle, poor distribution of fat in the body, or hormonal changes. It should be noted that these causes have not yet been clearly demonstrated.

It generally appears around the time of puberty, after pregnancy or at the menopause. Cellulite is like a scar that marks the skin, as much as fatty deposits, and it is virtually impossible to lose cellulite without resorting to cosmetic medicine.

What is liposuction in cosmetic surgery?
